Ian has done such a great job creating this piece - Stromatalites are living fossils, still found in Western Australia, when they eventually die off and become part of the earth, in only a couple of million years they look like this - stunning deep green with swirls and circles. Wonderful. I think this design is enhanced by the gold wire work so much. An open yet elegant design making the stromatalites the feature.
