Russian Charoite Golden Necklace

Amazing colour marks this especial pendant hand crafted by Rayclif.com. The stone is Charoite - almost unknown outside Russia. The only place it is mined is in Siberia and although it is reputed to have been discovered in the 1940s it was only in the 1970s that it started to be known outside Russia.

The swirling purple hues are most distinctive and this pendant is enhanced by the 14K gold wire work surrounding the stone. This is a rare and quite distinctive necklace.

If you like to know the metaphysical properties of the stone, Charoite is said to enhance self esteem and to turn negative thoughts to positive. It is also said to assist with liver and kidney damage due to alcohol abuse! For those of us (myself included) who rather like sweet things, Charoite is also said to assist the pancreas after excessive sugar consumption.

Whether you believe this or not, this stone is the most amazing colour and this golden necklace is simply stunning - you will need to act quickly though!

Stromatalite in 14K rolled gold

I love this piece; so much so, I had to include it on our home page at http://www.rayclif.com/.

Ian has done such a great job creating this piece - Stromatalites are living fossils, still found in Western Australia, when they eventually die off and become part of the earth, in only a couple of million years they look like this - stunning deep green with swirls and circles. Wonderful. I think this design is enhanced by the gold wire work so much. An open yet elegant design making the stromatalites the feature.
